Terence Hawkins

Terence Hawkins was born in Uniontown, PA. His grandfather and several uncles worked the coal mines. He graduated from Yale and the University of Wisconsin Law School. In 2012 Hawkins became the founding Director of the Yale Writers’ Conference, which he ran through 2015. He now heads The Company of Writers and is the Prose Editor of Blue Mountain ReviewThe Rage of Achilles, Hawkins’s first novel, is an account of the Iliad informed by the theory of the bicameral mind and appeared in 2009. Turing’s Graveyard, a collection of his short stories and humor, will appear in 2020 from Running Wild Press.
